Established in 2005 this  family business has gone from strength to strength and now boasts a full range of  modern in-house plastic recycling equipment including 3 complete shredding, granulation, washing and drying lines, sorting facilities and baling facilities, as well as a fully calibrated & computerized weighbridge  and truck & container loading facilities.

Using this equipment, we accept for recycling a full range of scrap / waste/ unwanted plastic materials which we prepare for re-use as high quality secondary raw materials in the international plastics moulding industry. Materials accepted include the following:

These renewable resources are recycled by Leinster Environmentals, using our own in-house recycling equipment, into high quality raw materials. These products are then sold to customers throughout the world who use them instead of new or “virgin” plastic granules during the moulding of an assortment of plastic products, resulting in a cost saving to the customer, as well as a savings in carbon emissions and oil reserves.

In addition to the above, Leinster Environmentals accepts additional renewable resources for recycling including cardboard and paper which are recycled into new paper based products.

Leinster Environmentals also accepts, free of charge, unwanted, abandoned and scrap vehicles. The hazardous wastes such as batteries, tyres, oils, fuels and fluids are all carefully removed using the company’s specialist “depollution” equipment and then sent for recycling. The remaining high quality scrap metal is sold for recycling to certified steel mills and processed into new iron based products. This is Co. Louth’s first and only Authorised Treatment Facility for the depollution of End - of - Life Vehicles which is endorsed by all major car manufacturers.
